Suggest Treatment For Chest Cold And Asthma Attacks

Question: My son has a chest cold and an asthma attack. We treated with nebuliser/albuterol an hour ago.
Can he take expectorant to help decongest.

He has got a respiratory infection. The treatment he is taking is all fine. You did very right by nebulizing your son. And yes there is nothing wrong in giving him Expectorant to relieve chest congestion and helping him to expectorate the phlegm.

If there is deterioration in condition even after use of expectorant and no benefits, take him to a Pulmonologist for expert evaluation and treatment.
