Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Blood-tinged Sputum While Having Asthma
Question: I have asthma & am currently using Xopenex inhaler 1 puff q4hrs. along with 100mg guaifenesin q 4-6 hrs for congestion. I am feeling better, not getting as much mucus from my chest (its thick white to clear). Just started to get some dark like old blood tinged (small amount). Should I be concerned? I really am feeling much better today than over the weekend when I was coughing non stop. No fever.
