Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain
Today i exerted myself with chest muscles as i did 200 incline pushups .
But today at evening i felt like a middle chest pain very minor pain . But it encreased when i walked .
I am athletic i play hard cardio exercises on daily basis . & i did 5 days ago through a routine check up of my company an EKG & it was normal with heart rate 66 which was so good & the did for me echocardiogram & thanks God it was perfect as my RF was 65 & Dr told me that RF 62 is consider 100% heart muscle so as for my reading it give 110% which is perfect .
They did for me by mistake doppler on Carotid (they supposed to do it for another one called XXXXXXX bu he is 59 years .
Anyway this duplex was Normal & clear carotid & vertebral arteries then the Dr said that this a great indicator that all my arteriea are fine & clear .
Also when i felt this pain i did a cardio exercise when i returned to home i reached 188 heart beat without anything felt . I was normal .
Can this due to muscle strain ?
Musculoskeletal strain vs other causes
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I am sorry you are experiencing this chest pain.
Given your recent heart evaluations, which were all good, your chest pain is likely from muscle strain.
One way to tell is if you notice pain by moving your rib cage in different ways such as twisting right and left, bending sideways, arching your chest forward and backward. If you have pain or discomfort with any of these things, you can know that your problem is in the chest wall (muscles/tendons) rather than with the heart.
Also, if pressing on the uncomfortable area causes discomfort, it is likewise in the chest wall from overuse or strain.
Chest pain is usually a feeling of pressure or chest tightness, but not always.
Another cause for chest pain is acid reflux, but this does not usually increase with walking.
For muscle strain, cutting back on activities that put further stress on the muscles, and taking ibuprofen (with or after food) can help you to feel better and heal.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
Pls note that i did stress test since a year also as a routine check up & it was negative test ( reached 105% of my target heart rate )

Yes, this is from muscle strain. Rest and antiinflammatory medication (ibuprofen) will help. Your heart is in good shape!
