Suggest Treatment For Chills, Night Sweats, Fatigue And Sharp Pain In The Ribs
Question: I've been a fever, chills, night sweats, nausea, fatigue, sensitivity to temperature and the occasional sharp pain under my left rib cage for about 2 years now. I've seen multiple doctors who've done blood tests, CT scans, ultrasounds and found nothing.
The worst part is it affects my mood and concentration meaning I feel extremely lightheaded and go through horrible mood swings of depression and frustration. I'm really struggling to find out what this is and how to recover.

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. your symptoms like sharp pain under your rib cage may be related with :
- IBS
- urinary sludge and stones
2. With regards to the fact that you have had nausea, chills, fever, I can say that it may be related with
- Infectious disease or an inflammatory process, this is why I would like to suggest you consult infectious disease specialist.
- thyroiditis ( inflammation of teh thyroid glands).
This is why at your case I would like to suggest:
- T3, T4 and TSH hormonal level plus thyroid ultrasound
- consult an infectious disease specialist.
-blood work to check for leukocytosis
It would be better if you can send me your medical reports like Ct report and blood test so I can check them by myself.
