Question : I've been a fever, chills, night sweats, nausea, fatigue, sensitivity to temperature and the occasional sharp pain under my left rib cage for about 2 years now. I've seen multiple doctors who've done blood tests, CT scans, ultrasounds and found nothing.
The worst part is it affects my mood and concentration meaning I feel extremely lightheaded and go through horrible mood swings of depression and frustration. I'm really struggling to find out what this is and how to recover.

Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. your symptoms like sharp pain under your rib cage may be related with :
- IBS
- urinary sludge and stones
2. With regards to the fact that you have had nausea, chills, fever, I can say that it may be related with
- Infectious disease or an inflammatory process, this is why I would like to suggest you consult infectious disease specialist.
- thyroiditis ( inflammation of teh thyroid glands).
This is why at your case I would like to suggest:
- T3, T4 and TSH hormonal level plus thyroid ultrasound
- consult an infectious disease specialist.
-blood work to check for leukocytosis
It would be better if you can send me your medical reports like Ct report and blood test so I can check them by myself.
