Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

1. Measure your blood pressure (bp) twice daily and record the results. Based on the results, your doctor will decide whether to start meds; if yes, what's the best in your case.

2. You have used benicar (olmesartan) , which is angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), however, you might need other meds

3. Ask your cardiologist to run ECG, echocardiogram and stress test for a complete cardiac check up

4. Other blood tests including biochemistry (e.g. liver/kidney function test, lipid profile, fasting glucose) and complete blood count are also needed to run

5. Meanwhile, you should limit salt /caffeinated drinks / high calories foods and to try to cope with stress

Hope it answered to your queries. Let me know if you have any other question.
