Suggest Treatment For Chronic Hives While On Hydroxyzine Hcl

Question: what over the counter treatment should i use for chronic hives. I have had this for 2 years and was taking hydroxyzine hcl 25mg at night and ranticid 300mg in the am. i don't want to continue taking the hydroxyzine if possible but my hives are very bad after about a week off the drugs. We have tried to determine cause of hives with no success. I often have severe swelling of lips or eyelids as well as hives. They especially bother me on my hands and feet, but i have them on arms legs and torso also. I have had blood work done a couple of times no lupus etc... I am female, 54, and very overweight. I feel good other than the hive problem. The only thing I know i am allergic to is penicillan.

You can change your antihistaminic and try tablet Cetrizine 10 mg twice daily.
This might help in controlling your hives.
