Question: Hello, I have been prescribed Xanax, 1 mg very 8-12 hrs. I suffer from chronic insomnia. Currently, I tke 2 mg qhs. Am I alowed to go up to 3 mg qhs due to not getting drowsy enough to get 8 hrs sleep. I hzve not had 8 hrs slee in several days. will, this be okay to benefit my orible insomnia?
