Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain While Diagnosed With Endometriosis
Question: HI there, on friday night when i came home from work. I saw fleshy tissue on my underwear. before this happened I was four days late. so I went to the ER last night to see if i was possibly pregnant and had a miscarriage. and the nurse said i wasn't..i've been suffering with chronic pelvic pain for nine years and my obgyn thinks i have endometriosis. I was put on norethindrone for a while and it did not help the pain and then put on provera tablet and that also didn't help. my obgyn still refused to do surgery to a confirm diagnosis and i am still dealing with pain outside my period and having painful cramps during and after...is it possible that i have endometriosis? i haven't seen my doctor in a year...
Brief Answer:
Endometriosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic.
1. The tissue what you saw was endometrial tissue. It is unlikely to be pregnancy.
2. Repeated pelvic pain could probably be due to endometriosis.
3. Please get transvaginal ultrasound scan done to check endometriosis.
4. Laparoscopy would be next option.
