Question: Can CP/CPPS be cured?

I have had frequent urination since last august and the tests I have done including ultrasound, cystoscopy and std testing all came negative. I also have a past history of chlamydia.

This symptom devastates me alot. Will it be cured on its own?

Brief Answer:
No definitive and complete treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query at healthcaremagic

I am sorry about problem. Unfortunately, there is no definitive and complete treatment for CPS/CPPS however many drugs have been proven useful relieving symptoms and improving quality of life. These include alpha blockers, anti inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, trycyclic anti depressants, physical therapy, trans urethral microwave thermo therapy etc

You can discuss about these with your doctor

Thankyou
