Suggest Treatment For Chronic Urticaria And Hyperthyroidism
treating chronic urticaria
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Often an allergist maybe able to determine a cause for chronic urticaria but in some cases we never know the cause. In this case the only thing to do is try to find a combination of medications that prevents you from getting an outbreak. In some patients taking a non-sedating antihistamine like xyzal daily is enough. In other patients they need to take a non-sedating antihistamine plus an H2 blocker every day. H2 blockers are usually thought of as treatment for stomach acid but they block another type of histamine release.
I have had the most success when patients take two ranitidine (150 mg twice a day) plus a non-sedating antihistamine like the xyzal once a day.
Try this and see if you can prevent the recurrent uncomfortable outbreaks
