Question : My 3 yr old daughter suffered pneumonia in September. She had cold n fever due to throat infection 10 days back... we went to the doc n she s fine now. But the cold is still there. She doesn't have running nose... sometimes she breaths thru her mouth... wen we visited doc wen she caught the infection we were told the chest is clear. After 10 days she still has cold.. is it a reason to worry with her pneumonia history... I stopped giving cold syrup after the antibiotics course was over.. now I just giving one dose at nut.. it's the Hicet ax

Thanks for posting a query to HCM,
Cold is nothing to do with the pneumonia. It could be just the weather changes causing the difficult to breath. give her Syr. Allerid or sinarest 3ml 3 times for 3 days.

Give a steam inhalation 2 times for 5 days and apply vicks vaporub in the night.
Give hot soup. Keep her warm by maximal clothing.
Give her to suck a tea spoon of honey before she goes to bed.

Any issue do follow up.
