Question: QUESTION for Dr Ratnesh Pandey - My husband, 37 years old, is also suffering from cold and cough, sore throat. please advise suitably.

This is due to sudden climatic change.
I am suggesting you some homoeopathic medicine you can start as prescribed

1 Dulcamara 200 6 pills 4 times in day
2 XXXXXXX Bich 30 6 pills three times in day
3 Bryonia 30 6 pills three times in day
4 Phytolacca Decendra Q 20 drops with half cup of water 3 times in day (for sore throat: if throat is mildly affected)
5 Justicia adhatoda Q 20 drops with half cup of lukewarm water 3 times in day (for sore throat: if throat is severely affected)

Adv: Give Influenzinum 200 1 dose every day for each member of family atleast 7 days. It will help you to protect against catching repeated cold
For medicine no 4 & 5 choose the medicine depending upon severity of case.
Phytolacca Decendra is given in case of little pain and difficult engulf and associated symptom while Justicia adhatoda is indicated in case of sever pain and almost complete loss voice and associated pain.
Take only 15 ml of medicine no 4 & 5
Take medicine for 7-10 days

Dear Dr Pandey, my husband is taking your prescribed medicines. Should he take Influenzinum30 parallel? My daughter too is taking R1 drops, Dulcamara 30 & for the last 10 days, as you had suggested. though she is much better now but still has cough. in the morning, sometimes she throws up while coughing after taking milk or so. But I would still say she is recovering. Should I give her Influenzinum 30 to her as well?

I advice you to give Influenzinum 200 1 dose every day for each member of family at-least 7 days including baby and your husband.
Understand this is a preventive medicine and help your family to protect against any infection.
The medicine has no role in curative action on current treatment. This is to make a strong immunity against any obnoxious disease causing agent.

should my daughter continue the previously prescribed medicines - R1, Dulcamara and Antim Tart? She has been taking them for over 2 weeks now. She is fine now and also taking Influenzinum 200 once a day.

Make sure that she is absolutely fine. You can put your ear on her chest and try to listen any sound while respiration. If that is clear and respiration is smooth then you can stop the medicine but give her Influenzinum for one more week as prescribed dose.
After a week you can stop all the medicine.
But medicine for your husband will be continue for at-least 15 days and depending upon improvement
