Question: On a ct report for Colon cancer if the radiologist states- fat stranding small volume lymph nodes noted keeping in line with tumor. What does this mean?

Brief Answer: Colon cancer Detailed Answer: The attached report shows extension of the tumor to nearby territories (fat and lymph nodes). On a positive note, there are no signs of tumor extension to other organs (liver,spleen, pancreas, gallblader, kidneys and adrenals). The surgeon saw no need to remove the tumor?

Yes surgery to remove tumor was yesterday. They removed very little bit if bottom Part of kidney too, does this meAn tumor has invaded kidney?
