Brief Answer:
likely irritable bowel syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Your symptoms are very much suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome. This is a disorder of functional deregulation of bowel movements.

Before diagnosing this, I would go for complete stool examination, colonoscopy, as well as rule out neuroendocrine tumors. If these are all normal, irritable bowel syndrome is likely.

You are on cholestyramine, if that doesn't help, your doctor may prescribe lomotil or Imodium, to control things. Stress reduction therapies also help.

Hope I have answered your query. I will be available for follow up.
Regards
