Suggest Treatment For Constant Fatigue And Dizziness

dizziness may be due to lack of blood supply to brain
Detailed Answer:
hello,I am Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
Basically at the age of 74 BP up to 150/90 is acceptable.please discuss about need of Amlong with your treating doctor.
Her complaints of fatigue and dizziness may be due to many causes like
1.Part of generalised aging for which you should give her multivitamin and multiminerals.
2.she may have reduced blood supply to brain for which you must check for Carotid doppler and lipid profile. If you find blocks in carotids and high cholesterol you should start with statin group of medicine and Aspirin.
3.please get and ENT surgeon's opinion to rule out any cause for her vertigo like dizziness.
4.Please check her ECG to rule out any heart trouble leading to fatigue and dizziness.
My best wishes

she needs to focus on cholesterol management
Detailed Answer:
hello,
I have gone through all reports.
please consider following aspects.
1.Her HDL 30 is very low it should be above 40,LDL 153 is high it should remain below 100 and serum cholesterol should remain below 150.She must avoid fatty food .To raise HDL she may take almonds, walnuts and pista everyday.Regular exercise for 30 min will be helpful. She may need statin if her LDL and Cholesterol remain persistently high. There is medicine to raise HDL but not long term benefits are observed. So diet and exercise is only solution.
2.for her IFG also diet control and exercise will be helpful.
3.she must try to reduce weight whcih is difficult at this age.
I would like to know whether she snores during sleep or not?Heavy snoring may be sign of obstructive sleep apnoea.
Do let me know regarding snoring,
My best wishes
Dr.Teli.
