Brief Answer:
a cause has to be identified first

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

in order to address the issue of excessive gas in the stomach, a cause has to be identified first. I'll make a short list of common causes just in case you (or your doctor) can identify one in it:
- carbonated drinks: they contain too much carbon dioxide and they may cause increased gas in the stomach and the intestine.
- chewing gums or candies: if you do it all the time you'll swallow a lot of air, which causes belching and increased air in the intestine
- eating too fast: this is another thing that causes swallowing of air.
- anxiety: the same applies here.

If no other gastrointestinal problems exist then perhaps you can find the cause in the aforementioned list.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
You can contact me again, if you'd like any clarification or further information.

Kind Regards!
