Brief Answer:
Possibility of migraine or tension type headache

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
You may be having migraine or tension type headache.
Is there any nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound?
Any anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances?
Any aggravating factors?
Any family history of migraine headache?
No need of mri if CT is normal and examination is normal.
You can start with amitriptyline or flunarizine 10 mg at night time.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Topiramate has been advised for migraine headache.
The full effect may take 2-3 weeks.
Take plenty of fluids too.
Pain killers may be taken for short periods.
Amitriptyline can also be added if there is significant stress and sleep disturbances.
