Brief Answer:
hold off solids, fluid replacement, probiotics, pepto bismol, pepcid

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The hard sensation is likely due to bloating. Excess air, that causes bloating is commonly associated with stomach pain and frequency of bowel movements.

It is possible that you may have a mild viral infection because this would also be associated with decreased appetite , fatigue and weight loss.

Viral infection of the GI tract are common and resolve on their own with mainly symptomatic treatment.

If you are having more than 3 bowel movements a day, then this would be diarrhea, if the movements are loose or watery.

Treatment consist of-(1)if you are having diarrhea, then hold off solids till there is a 4 hour period with no diarrhea
When this occurs start with a small amount of dry solid food such as toast, plain rice and banana according to the BRAT diet.

If this is tolerated then different foods can be added

If there is no diarrhea, then you should just use dry foods

Avoid any spicy, acidic, fried foods

(2)medications such as peptobismol and pepcid would be helpful with the stomach pain, bloating, gas and bowel movements
Both of these are over the counter

(3)Probiotics , either on their own or in yogurts, would also help as well

I hope this helps , feel free to ask any other questions
