Suggest Treatment For Constipation After Getting Treated At The Hospital For Heart Issues
Question: so...been constipated a good week. was in hospital for heart...doubled the wrong stuff, by mistake, in about three and half days. Went in stove up, came out same way; lots of concoctions, no action. I'm 80 in good health, or was. what say you?

AS far as I can understand you have got severe issues related to constipation after getting treated at the hospital for heart issues and some other injuries (feel free to correct me). Whenever a patient is on the bed for a few days the motility of intestines decreases hence constipation occurs. Try to ambulate if possible.
The easiest way out is to take any over the counter laxative like Polyethylene glycol (available as trade name Miralax) or Lactulose available as brand name Looz. Once your bowel gets normal taper off the medication and you would be fine.
Prune juice and other natural remedies would help but only after acute constipation is relieved.
Take Isabghul husk, it would add bulk to your stools.
