
Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Anal Bleeding

Question: I have been constaped for a few days, I could go a little, and noticed that it locked black.l took a Ducolax supposorty it worked l am slightly color blind with dark colors so I showed it to my wife, she said it's red and is blood. What should I do?

The blood is likely form an injury cause to the rectum by the hard stools. It is possible that you may have hemorrhoids which can bleed easily with hard stools.
The bleeding may stop by itself in which case a stool softener and diet with plenty of fibres to avoid constipation may be sufficient.
If the bleeding persists, it would be good to see a doctor and have yourself examined and treated appropriately.

My stool is completely dark red, I haven't really had a hard bowl movement, it's also accompanied with really smelly gas, a lot of gas.
