Brief Answer:
Give it at 1-1.5 gm/kg/day for 3 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi

You may give laxopeg for disimpaction of impacted stools if your daughter has severe constipation. The dose is 1-1.5 gm/kg/day for 3 days.

In case she has mild discomfort due to hard stools then you may give Lactulose syrup for stool softening. This should be along with dietary modifications. Give plenty of fluids, high fibre diet and avoid constipating foods. Excess consumption of cow′s milk, bananas, yogurt, cheese, cooked carrots and other foods that are low in fiber can lead to constipation.

Having foods rich in magnesium (green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains) also helps as magnesium deficiency is associated with constipation.

Hopefully this will help you. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care
