Suggest Treatment For Constipation In Infant
Question: i have adopted a newly born baby( 8 days old). She is having constipation .We are feeding NAN pro-1 powder as breast milk is not available. Please guide

Specially if he is top fed.
You can wait for 2 days to pass the stool.
You can give Egnol drops , anal stimulation.
If above measures do not work then try glyerin suppositories after consulting your doctor.
You can also add some sugar to his feed.

she is ok now.But we are finding difficult to feed top(as she is adopted) and also kindly let us know whether any growth is there or not.
She was 2.1 kg during her birth on 23rd Dec'14 and it was premature(7.5 months)
