Suggest Treatment For Contact Dermatitis Allergy
Question: Hi. I have a contact dermititis allergy to chemicals found in surgical gloves. I recently had a huge flame up on my hands. I was given predisone 20mg twice a day for 4 days, tapering off thru 12 days. The day after i stopped i developed cold symptoms, and took over the counter cold remesies for 4 days. This morning i woke up covered with red bump rashes, & my heartbeat is fast, some headache, & mottled legs. No mottleing on my arms, & only a few bumps on legs. What is happening to me?
Brief Answer:
PLease, provide an image of this rash to us!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this rash. To better help you, I would suggest that you provide an image for review. This would be very helpful to tell what the exact cause of your rash and the management plan is. If I cannot receive the image, let me know and I will provide the little possible in the absence of this.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and look forward to more exchanges with you.

I am unable to do that. The rash is little red raised bumps. about the sizes of 1/8th -1/4th. located on my back upper back arms, lower arms, few on belly , hips , & buttocks. I'm trying to see dermatologist, but I also feel high anxiety going out.
I am waiting for more help
I am concerned about the mottleing on my legs also.

Please, follow the instructions below!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
1. Get an image using a smart phone or camera.
2. Look on the right of your dashboard and click on the link to upload a new file.
3. Follow instructions and get the image to us.
Commenting without the instructions is a difficult task and would not be very helpful. I really want to be of help and see at least an image.
Let me hear from you.

Brief Answer:
I have seen the images! Ay itches?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for uploading the image.
I have reviewed the image fully. This is clearly troubling but more suggestive of allergy. Do you have any itches? I will recommend that you take Zyrtec at dose recommended by your pharmacist for this. This should address the rash. If no improvements is observed within 72hours, then I will recommend a doctor's consultation.
I wish you well and do well to update me with the progress of this rash and symptoms!

Really? Good. Okay i'll do that. Yes itching on my back mostly...using calamine lotion to help. Arm doesn't itch. Some on my neck at the hairline itches & on forhead. Trying to ignore it & hope I can sleep good tonight. Have had poor sleep for a 2 weeks. Thank you again. I will let you know. XXXX
You don't think it could be measles? I had the cold symptom's last 5 6 days. Or possibly a acetominophen reaction? Actually all the med's I have taken can cause the rash. I think I have a overdose inside me. I think I am too hyper & can't relax inside. Will the zyrtec calm me down?

Brief Answer:
Not Measkes!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Measles rash is so characteristic and this is not measles. It generally starts on the face and moves downward. This is not the case with you. Like I mentioned before, I am leaning more towards allergy and would want to see what the Zyrtec does before considering any further actions.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Let me know if you have any more concerns and how the rash is progressing.
