He says he visited the hospital and a doctor says it is something called empene (in Spanish), or vamp, or instep. Are any of these words anything close to a word describing a skin condition? He implies it is some kind of venereal disease. Could this be possible? If so, what venereal disease? I doubt I can get him to send me a picture.Did you get my follow-up question? Please respond. Thank you.Still no reply to my follow-up questions. Please just tell me what, if any, are all the possible diseases that could be transmitted this way (a simple kiss from the lips to the skin of the neck, and without breaking the skin). My friend thinks it was a kiss on the neck from me, which I tend to doubt. But I need to know what the possibilities are. As already said, he won't send me a photo or give me any further information. And so I don't know what to make of this. If it was contact dermatitis, what, if any, symptoms would I then also have? All I want is information about all the possibilities, not a definitive diagnosis. Thank you very much.
Brief Answer:
Might be contact dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Good to hear from.
Sorry for delayed response due to my hectic schedule.
As said it is difficult to comment without examination, had you applied any lipstick? That might be responsible for causing contact dermatitis. If so, it may not present with any symptom in you. I do not think that this is a venereal disease.
I would like to know more about the lesion on the neck of your friend, is it a rash? Does he have itching? Are there blisters? Kindly get back to me with the answers to my questions so that I can help you better.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you.
Take care.
