Brief Answer:
seems to be allergic bronchitis.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that your daughter is having cough. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any nasal obstruction or post nasal drip ( sinus secretions trickle back into throat) ?
Is her cough wet (sputum production) ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be allergic or lung infection secondary to 1 week old flu.

As such, viral fevers can cause complications like pneumonia or lung infections or sinusitis.

I suggest you to consult an ent surgeon, get detailed ent examination. As the infection is more than one week, she requires blood tests (complete blood picture), and x-ray chest. Depending on the examination findings treatment can be started.

Mean time, give her steam inhalation, avoid consumption of freezer products (ice cream/curd). You can continue nebulisation, if there is a wheeze.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
