Suggest Treatment For Contractures In The Left Rib Cage Area

default
Posted on Mon, 15 May 2017
Question: I have what I have been told are contractures in my left rib cage area. These were caused by sitting in a recliner too many days (inactivity). I have been hanging from a bar, using a rowing machine and doing some yoga stretches but progress is slow so I wonder if I need to go to a physical therapist?

Brief Answer:
Yes, see a physical therapist!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for contacting us at healthcare magic.

I have reviewed your information fully and working with a therapist would be of added advantage. You have tried doing this alone and the progress is slow. This requires that you meet an expert to make sure you are maximizing your chances and taking advantage of the best available opportunities available to regain full and total functionality of these muscles.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be. Also, keep me updated on how well the recovery is working with a physical therapist.
