Brief Answer:
Some roots may remain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Corn has roots in the skin and pain is its usual symptom. If it is still there, then see a surgeon. He will take it out by doing a minor procedure.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
It is not a surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

It is not a surgery. It is just a minor procedure to excise it out. Total surgical excision will prevent its recurrence also. Aongwith use soft soles to avoid pain.

Corn caps usually required prolonged treatment for 4-6 weeks. Soak the foot in warm water and then rub out the dead skin with pumice stone and apply corn cap overnite.

Hope it helps.
