Brief Answer:
cough syrup.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Vomit is common in pregnancy and coughing might have precipitated that so don't worry about vomiting.
For cough she can take a cough syrup with bromohexine which will relieve it and give a soothing feeling in throat.
It is to be taken thrice a day.
Along with cough syrup she should
- do gargles twice a day with warm water and a pinch of salt.
- avoid cold beverages and even chilled water
- avoid fried foods which can aggravate the cough
- she can keep some lozenges so that bouts of coughs can be controlled.
All the best.
