Suggest Treatment For Cough, Running Nose And Bleeding From Ears
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am from XXXXXXX
last week I was suffering from running nose with thick flum + cough with flum. I went to ENT he said vocal is clear it might be broncolight he has given CETZINE-A (for 6 days)
After one day i felt some thing hanging on right ear and kept ear bud after few hours pain started and after 8 hours it is bleeding i went to ENT again doctor said it is iinfection because of heavy nose. Also i am having bodypain fever and headeache. He has given below medicine. I forgot to tell him about fever.When i take dolo tablet it is under control. He also asked me to check about syas by doing CT Scan. Not done yet. Will do.

Now bleeding in control. But fever is still there with head ache body pains feeling cold. Temparature at 100.
Please suggest tablet for fever + body pains + cold ?

Continue the dolo tablet three times a day if needed to relieve the fever, headache and body pains.
If I am your treating doctor then I would prescribed
1. Antibiotic sultacillin 375mg twice a day.
2. Systemic nasal decongestant i.e. combination of fexofenadine and montelukast once in the night and local nasal decongestant i.e. xylometazoline two drops three times a day.
3. Steam inhalation three times a day for at least five minutes.
4. Avoid putting water, oil & ear bud in the ear and continue your ear drop and supportive treatment after consulting with your doctor.
