Question: Hi, my name is XXXXXXX and I have for 5-6 days a nasty harmonica noise in my chest. Especially in the morning in my chest is a wheezing noise associated with a cough I am trying to expectorate but only sometime I do and the sputum is a slightly yellow colour and very small. Can you help?

Brief Answer:
Drink much fluids and also use carbocystein

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am sorry to hear about this cough. your symptoms are suggestive of non productive cough. The most common cause is a viral infection. We don't generally use antibiotics for this. fluids and an expectorant such as mucomyst will help address your symptoms. Do these recommended actions and update me within 48 hours on how you are doing.

I hope this helps. I wish you well and hope to hear from you. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
