Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Severe Diarrhea
You have symptoms of malabsorption
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM.
Chalky white stools may indicate fat malabsorption. There are many different causes of fat malabsorption. Chronic pancreatitis is one of the causes of fat malabsorption.
Crohn's disease can run in families. It is another cause of malabsorption. Since there is family history of Crohn's disease, this possibility should also be considered.
So the next step should be to get tested for malabsorption. A complete blood count, stool analysis, small bowel biopsy, a CT scan of the abdomen may be done for evaluation. In the meanwhile drink cleaner water and take hygienic food.
I hope that answers your question.
With kind regards,
Dr.Barani.
