Question: Hello Dr,
I have crhon's disease. I took Humaira for around a year and it was working so good. Then I stopped it for 16 months. I went back to the Dr since my case became worse so he gave me Humaira again and Prilose. I took 4 shots last Wednesday and will take 2 shots after 2 weeks. I don't feel Humaira is working well like before. (When I took it last time, it worked directly or didn't take a long time)

I'm just worried, How long usually Humaira takes to start affecting my body?
Also: I feel I have an ulcer too, Do Humaira helps to take cure the ulcer?

Brief Answer:
Wait for a few more days..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I advise to wait for a few more days until you see improvement. Perhaps, this time the symptoms were worse as compared to the last time.

Humira (Adalimumab) is an excellent choice for Chron's disease.

Prisolec is helping improving stomach acidity, thus, improving stomach ulcer (if any).
If the stomach ulcer would be because of Crohn's disease, Humira would help cure that ulcer.

As you may see, in either cases, you are taking proper treatment.

I highly advise to follow strict diet regimen too.

Wish fast recovery!
