Brief Answer:
Suggestions on sleeplessness

Detailed Answer:
Hi...I have gone through your answers. Many answers were positive for the questions posed.

My suggestions -

1. Avoid steam inhalation in this age. I suggest you use Nasivion-s saline nasal drops 1 drop in each nostril every 6th hourly, only if there's nose block.

2. Babies who suck milk fast gulp in air too, which has to come out while burping or as flatus. Until this happens it will causing an uncomfortable sensation which makes the babies cry. You can relieve only by effective burping or using colicaid.

3. If picking at ears is common I suggest you consult your pediatrician who can perform an otoscopy and see the ear drum in the office itself and decide whether it requires antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query satisfactorily. If you are happy with the interaction kindly rate it and close the discussion.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
