Suggest Treatment For Cut On The Penis After Intercourse
Question: Hi
I recently noticed a cut on my penis in the sulcus area near the frenulum. At first it bled (I was wearing a condom at the time and felt tightness and some discomfort/stinging pain during intercourse) I had a brief look at it and the bleeding was very minor (like a paper cut) and cleared up in an instant. Because this is an area of the penis I don't regularly look at, I didn't notice anything odd until very recently when I looked at it and saw the skin had torn, healed and was now covered in minuscule bumps which were almost furry to the touch and have a slightly white appearance. If I scratch then it bleeds momentarily. It is not painful at all I have no other symptoms. I have a tight foreskin and have since birth but haven't had any issues with it (I'm now 24) and I've previously had thrush which caused small lesions in the foreskin and sulcus skin which have all healed but I've heard that the healed skin is weak. Do I have an infection or is this normal healing for this area? Do I have thrush again? My girlfriend was recently checked for all STDs I believe and all were negative. I recently had a benign polyp removed from my throat and wonder if this is something similar.

-- Consider doing STI testing if the problem does not get better with the advises above. Everything appearing in genital area should make us thonk about possible STI infection.
-- During STI testing consult you should rule out by a doctor seeing it, if that its warts. I cannot tell by looking at it.
