Suggest Treatment For Cylindrical Eye Power In A Child

Question: my son has 0.50 cylindrical power in both eyes and 0.25 SPH in right eye .He is 4.5 years old
How do I reduce the power.what exercises do it make him .Should he wear the glasses every time.
Do I need to give him any particular intake I mean in food so that it may help us in someway.so plz doctor give ur best advice will b really greatful to u

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
This is a very small power for a small child. We in our practice weigh the disability produced by glasses and it's management.There has to be lot of problems to give such a small child glasses. Take care of diet of child, giving him protein rich balanced diet and calcium in the form of milk.
Have six monthly follow up to assess his progress.
