Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Ovary Along With Hormonal Imbalance
Question: Hi,
Iam 30 yrs now.I have irregular periods before 2013.I checked with doctor and they identify one lemon size cyst in my left ovary along with hormonal imbalance. Doc prescribe krimson 35 to regularize the periods and also i had my cyst removed by laprscopic in Mid of 2013.After that doc prescribe to contine krimson 35 for 3 months,so had regular periods until Aug 2014.
After my marriage in Aug 2014, I had the same problem of irregular periods from oct 2014.I consult doctor and she prescribe Meprate .After 17 days of periods ,they asked to take the tablet Duphaston along with Folic acid to get pregnancy. But up to May 2015,i dont get pregnant.Now i discontinue duphaston too to check when my periods will actually come.
Until Now i dont get my periods or get pregnant.consult with Fertility Center doctors.And they took scan and shows the report as left ovary smaller in size compared to right.
right ovary contains follicle of size 8*9 mm.And No adnexal Mass lesion and POD free.And doctor says with in a week you will have your periods. Any Advice...?
Given test to AMH and Thyroid.Thyroid Value is normal.AMH test is yet to come today.

You are a case of PCOD since 2013 diagnosed when you have been advised krimson 35 to regularize your menses. It is to be understood that PCOS consists of polycystic ovaries on ultrasound, acne , hirsutism and irregular menses.. Also seen is increased insulin resistance due to obesity which is the prime cause of anovulation and hence infertility.
AMH levels are important for finding out the ovarian reserve, which if more than 1.5 , you may be planned for an ovulation induction during your next cycle and a possible intra uterine insemination (IUI) which can increase your chances for pregnancy. Presently you should take only folic acid tablet. If hormonal profile have been done i would lik you to attach a copy of the same for my purview so that i would be able to advise you in a better manner.
