Suggest Treatment For Damaged Skin On Glans

Question: I have damaged the skin on my glans through masturbation. The skin was initially very red and slightly weeping. It then began to dry and flake repeatedly every week or. Hydrocortizone and antifungals have not helped and although there is not a wound there any more the skin is very thin and sensitive on the affected area. It is clearly different to the undamaged skin around it on the glans. My last relationship was difficult as sex was painful and the skin became raw again after having sex. I have avoided masturbation now for at least 1 month. I've been tested and do not have an STI. I am meeting women and would like to get involved again but thisis stopping me. This has been going on for at least a year now. Help!

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
Now from the description, it looks like either you have developed a chronic fungal infection over the glans region or you have developed a thinning of skin due to steroid abuse
I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition before we can be sure of the diagnosis.

Also please tell if you have been using topical steroid cream over the area since a long time.
