Suggest Treatment For Dark Urine And Abdominal Discomfort

Question: 61 yr old male, 2 years ago severe accident, broke all ribs right side perfed lung, perfed bowel, ileostomy reversed 1 year ago, experiencing general malaise, dark urine and watery stoll, some abdominal discomfort, short term about a week

In my opinion, you should get done ultrasound examination of abdomen and stool microscopic examination.

Stool examination is needed to rule out infection.
Ultrasound examination of abdomen is needed to rule out any complication of perforated bowel.
You will need probiotic drug.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Avoid oily and spicy food.

in icu for 45 days, many ultra sounds, low level constant pain, seems muscular in nature since they took down the ileostomy and repaired abdominal muscles,

Ileostomy can cause malabsorption syndrome. And this can cause deficiency of nutrients like vitamins, minerals and other trace elements.
So better to supplement with total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
Once his nutritional deficiency is treated, his symptoms will subside.
