Question: I have a tooth infection..I live out in the country and our dentist the only one is on vacation with his family. I am seriously swollen

As per your symptoms you are having decayed tooth that has led to infection causing swelling.In such case you need to consult a dentist & get a X-Ray of tooth as early as possible,If clinical & radiographic condition of tooth is favorable then go for Root canal treatment otherwise get it extracted.
Meanwhile you can start with a course of analgesic-antibiotic for 3 days.
Do warm saline rinses & cold fomentation.
Take appointment from dentist & get it treated as early as possible.
