Brief Answer:
wait for 4 days more.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,
Yes it takes 7-10 days after stopping the primolut to get your period.
So do wait for a few more days. You will be getting your periods soon.
You can then get further treatment for ovulation and intra uterine insemination done after period starts.
Hope this helps.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Normoz is for PCOS, but it doesnt delay period
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Normoz contains vitamins and other compounds which can help improve ovulation, but the mechanism of their action is not fully understood and not fully proven, you may choose to discontinue it if its not helping you. Also since you have PCOS that itself is the primary cause of delay in your periods.
The Normoz, if at all it works should have regularized your period.
Please continue the Folvite till you conceive as it is essential for adequate development of the baby's brain and spine.
Are you also taking Metformin? Because Metformin is more proven to be effective for PCOS and can be continued even if you get pregnant.
Also I would like to know your weight and height? And if you have done blood sugar recently?
Hope this helps.
Regards.

That is good to know
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your sugars are in control. But Metformin you should try to take, yes Metformin is a difficult drug to take, but its effects on PCOS are proven. You could take it after meals or at bedtime to decrease the realization of its effects.
Also would encourage you to have a target of 5 kilo weight loss, this will help in spontaneous ovulation. You must be trying to loose weight but the help of a dietitian for the same and constant motivation can help a lot.
If you do not get your period by the 10 XXXXXXX you should do urine pregnancy test and see, it sometime so happens that after SSG the patient do get pregnant immediately, this could be a reason also of your not getting a period, so please a urine pregnancy test on 10 and if negative you will have to take Tab. Duphaston 10 mg 3 times for 5 days to get your period; if the pregnancy is positive then you can continue the pregnancy as the Primolut you have taken will not affect the fetus as it would be in very initial days when the organs are not yet formed.
So relax and wait for 10 XXXXXXX
Hope this helps,
Regards.
