Question: It's already 6 days ( Period Date 03-Jan-2017) but yet to get my periods.I have taken Deviry 10mg for 3 days ( 2 per day). I have tested pregnancy using I-Can Kit for last 3 days and all tests are negative. Please advise, Also let me the reason for delays. Can i rule out pregnancy.

Thanks for posting the query,

As you have taken devery and stopped your periods should have come with in 3 days of stopping devery. But still you can wait for 2 more days. As the pregnancy test is negative do not bother about pregnancy.


Some times after 4o years periods do go irregular. Wait for 2 more days and if periods do not start then consult the gynaecologist to rule out the cause.

Hope the dosage of deviry 10mg ( 2 per day) for 5 days is OK. In general, pregnancy test shows positive on which date after ovulation ( for my understanding)

Ya devery for 5 days is correct dose.


Pregnancy test comes positive after your missed cycles ie. After 15 days of the ovulation. In some people it is delayed also. it comes positive only after 1 week or 10 days of the missed cycle.

Doctor, Yesterday i had been Gynecologist and she advised that since pregnancy test are negative there is no need to worry. She advised to wait for 8 to 10 before detail check via instrument. Please advise
