Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Depression is increasing nowadays among teenagers.
It is difficult to predict if it is true depression or just hormonal angst.
If he is getting frustrated and reacting aggressively then it is important to rule out depression.
For this you need to consult a MD psychiatrist.
There are child counsellors and child psychology science graduates but it is better to consult a psychiatrist.
The usual reasonsn usually found are such as argumentative parents, fragmented friendship groups or stressful schooling.
Try talking to your son and his friends and school teacher to understand what is bothering him.
Wishing your son good health.
