I do not have a particular trigger for this. (at least known).

This is the first time welbutrim is not working. (450 mg)

Is wellbutrim losing its efficacy ?
i took 1/2 of xanax and felt better today.

Need your help doctor.

Brief Answer:
As below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Please do not worry about these transient ups and downs. These fluctuations are common and usually settle in a few days. Many times, triggering events cannot be identified. However, if you notice that the low mood is consistently worsening over the next few days, then we would need to think about what should be done. Till then, Xanax or Rivotril on an "as and when required" basis can be taken. There is no reason why bupropion should lose its efficacy. I assume you did not lower the dose from 450 mg. However, if you had lowered the dose and this was followed by the worsening of mood, then we would have to presume that lowering of the dose is responsible. If so, a dose hike to 450 mg again should solve the problem.

Best wishes.
