Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

There are no known physical effects to the brain caused by the conditions you describe above. However, there are several bodily effects associated with these conditions. Depression raises the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. it is associated with higher levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, and inflammatory biomarkers. Chronic pain can become associated with worsening depression. Loss of spousal support raises the risk of dying earlier than expected. So, there are all serious things that need treatment, either with medication or psychotherapy.
