I am XXXXXXX female, age-28, b.com graduate, not working right now.

I completed my b.com in 2007, immediately after that I started working as accountant, till 2010 my life was going normal, happy n full of confidence, I changed my job n in new company I met a boy who pretended to love me n I too started liking him. He slowly started to make changes in me like trying to make me away from my friends n entire world, I did it for his happiness let go off my friends, contact with everyone. He made me leave the job n started to lock me at home, he used to abuse me n mentally torture me, if he saw me talking to anyone. He has used me physically also. He used to check my phonecalls, outgoing he disconnected, even he used to give me time to talk to my family also. He made my life hell. When I tried to come out from this love relationship, he started threatening me, to pressurize me he used to call my family n abuse them without reason. This happened to me for more than 3years.
Now somehow he is out of my life, but I have lost all my confidence. I was amongst top 3 students in college. Now I don't even have the confidence to attend interview, confidence to talk to interviewer, I can't go out alone, don't feel like going out from home, wanna be active but have become very lazy n inactive. Even if I make a strong will to get up early n exercise or walk, I can't do it. I just want my normal life. I dont have a friendly family with whom I can share my pain, don't have more friends also, coz lost all in that phase of my life.

Plz help me, plz. I want to be the same active energetic girl I was earlier.

Brief Answer:
you can be normal for sure, please consult psychiatrist soon

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for information.

I can understand your feelings and the phase through which you are passing. You have suffered a lot. May be that boy had some personality problems. However it is good that you are at least out of that relationship and not in touch with him at all.

You do have depression. Your past is not allowing you to move forward and you have stuck at one place. Let me inform you that we psychiatrist see many cases like yours in our daily practice. Most of them have depression and they can be cured and live normal life with good career and future.

Specific treatment of depression includes both medicines and psychotherapy.

In medicines SSRI group of drugs(fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, escitalopram) are main stay of the treatment. Benzodiazepines group of drugs(clonazeapm, lorazepam or etizolam) are used initially for short duration for fast symptomatic relief.
Other medicines like desvenlafaxine,
mirtazapine ,bupropion can be used depending on indication.

Other approach is psychotherapy. In that psychodynamic psychotherapy , short term supportive psychotherapy and cognitive behavior therapy(CBT) are used.Considering your status right now you are in need of medicines. After some stability psychotherapy can be carried out full-flagged manner.

Please consult psychiatrist personally as soon as possible. You can come out of this and be energetic again like before. Just give yourself time and professional help.

Take care. Feel free to discuss further.

Brief Answer:
online prescription is not legal

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I can understand your concern. I would like to treat you if I get chance. But there is limitation from our side. Online prescription is not valid and I cannot issue the same. And it is better to take medicines after consulting local doctors. If any side effect occurs by chance local doctor can help immediately.

Please do not hesitate to consult psychiatrist personally.

If still any query there, I will be happy to answer.
If not, you can close the discussion and give your feedback which can help me to improve service.
