Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. Welcome to HCM.
I have read your concerns and will answer accordingly.
You have depression and have taken antidepressant for that. You got improved but after stopping the drug your symptoms relapsed.
These is common in depression. After starting the treatment, you have to continue it for at least 6 to 8 months or sometimes for 1 year depending upon the improvement in your symptoms. Stopping the drugs before this duration would result in relapse of the symptoms as happened in your case. So visit your psychiatrist for 6 to 8 months for proper treatment guidance. After 2 to 3 months of regular visit you can ask for every 2 monthly or even 3 monthly visit.
You can not stop drugs on your own. Drugs need to be tapered down gradually before stopping them and you have to do this under his observation only. You can ask for prescription of the drugs for 3 months also.
Continue your other drugs they are more essential to you. Continue nexito plus for at least 6 to 8 months before stopping. Visit your doctor regularly.
Hope I have answered your query. if you have further question then feel free to ask.
Wish you good health.
