default
Posted on Mon, 10 Nov 2014
Question: I have been diagnosed with dermal fibrosis. My doctor gave me all of his sample creams and told me to start with one, use it all and then go to the next one. The blisters are spreading on my scalp quite rapidly and it is very difficult to sleep.

Brief Answer:
Change the doctor and consult a dermatologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I would suggest you change your doctor and consult another a dermatologist as soon as possible.
Since you lesion are spreading rapidly you may need systemic or intralesional steroids. You need to start treatment as soon as possible.
Until that I suggest continue your topical steroids. If you will not able to get another dermatologist then visit your current treating doctor and discuss about to start new treatment. Do not touch lesions and scratch lesions.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
