1. Make sure to keep the area dry and clean
2. Avoid scratching the area
3. Do not wear nylon material clothes over the ring worm
4. Apply Ketaconazole ointment twice daily after cleaning it with soap and water. Once the ringworm lesion is better continue to apply it for another week,

Oral anti fungal agents are not required for the ring worm.
