Hi
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank for the query.
Well there is no specific Medications to treat piles.
One needs to ensure soft stools for which she can take liquid paraffin 15 ml twice a day titrated to ensure two to three soft stools every day.
In addition application of local ointment like 2 % lignocaine jelly around the anus 10 minute before defecation will help.
All these medications are available over the counter.
Once bleeding has stopped then one can switch over to Isapgula husk two teaspoon at night.
Hope this answers your query.
Best wishes.
