Suggest Treatment For Diabetes When Treating Chronic Pancreatitis And Fibromyalgia

I have chronic pancreatitis(Had it for 9 years), Fibromyalgia(More then 9 years) and some other issues as well. I have been checking my blood sugar lvl every couple of years with a tester with like 10 tests I can do without prescription just to check if my pancreatitis has caused Diabetes. Last week was I got 9.9 mmol/l, 9.2 and 9.5 all those times where not long after I woke up and had not eaten for 12 hours or more. Had some in the 8.5 range as well, also I have a black area under my foot, skin is black in a 1cm or so diameter. It has been there for over 2 weeks now, does not go away. I also have wounds on my big toe side where the nail goes down. Which does not heal, I put on bandages on it to keep anything from rubbing against the wounds and all.
I am very ill to begin with, but have gotten worse. Feel like I have a fever, but dont got the test for it.
I am on several medications, but have never really gotten much of the downside of them. All the things I have mentioned is fairly recent and I have checked what the side effects of the meds are. They do not cause any of the issues I have mentioned. My biggest worry here is the high fasting numbers I get on my tester for blood sugar and the black mark under my left foot that as mentioned been there for over 2 weeks. Any idea on what It can be, is it an emergency or is it something that can wait for an appointment which usually takes a couple of weeks to get?
P.S: I know this is a complicated case I would say, with the combined issues I have. Still I need advice on what it could be and how fast indeed I need it checked. :)
Almost forgot. My left foot that has the mark under it, it hurt everynow and then. Sharp pain, that lingers for a looong time and comes from 1 of the toes that are right above the mark.

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The numbers of fasting blood sugar are high and Diabetes should be considered.
You should run an blood sugar test in a lab to confirm the numbers.
Regarding the pictures you have provided ,the wound on your big toe seems to be infected because the skin around the toe is red and inflamed .Having high levels of blood glucose can make the healing process of any wound difficult.
You may need to apply an topical antibiotic cream to it.
The black mark under your foot might be related to circulation problems.
It is possible to be just a bruise and in this case it will change color from blue-black mark to green and after 2 weeks it will appear yellowish -brown.
If the mark hasn't changed in size since it has appeared ,it is less likely for it to be a bruise. In this case a circulation problem should be taken in consideration.
I would suggest to consult a physician as soon as possible and get examined.
You need to test your blood sugar and confirm Diabetes.
It is not an emergency but you should get examined as soon as possible .A couple of weeks is a long time to wait.Your big toe also need evaluation and proper medication.
Try to consult a physician soon.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any other question or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati

The mark under the foot has not changed color and been about 2 weeks already I would say since I noticed it. Its pretty much stayed same size as well. So guess its more to do with circulation then?
Ill get it all checked out tomorrow at the clinic, I struggle to get out at all and needed to be completely sure I would not waste the doctors time. I have not always had the best experiences with doctors, so have a hard time going to them..
Again I say ty for your consult.
it is necessary to consult a physician.
